Pokhara

Located some 200km west of Kathmandu, it is situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and directly under the Annapurna mountain range. It is the gateway to the Annapurna region where many a trekker finds his Shangri-La. Pokhara’s spellbinding beauty has been the subject of many travel writers.
