The Khumbu or Everest region is the most popular
trekking area in Nepal . It would probably be the most
popular destination, but it is more difficult to get to
Solu Khumbu than to the Annapurna area. Solu Khumbu is
justifiably famous, not only for its proximity to the
world's highest mountain (8848 metres), but also for its
Sherpa villages and monasteries. The primary goal of an
Everest trek is the Everest Base Camp at an elevation of
about 5545 meters or Kalapattar at 5360 meters or both.
One of the classic treks in Nepal , Everest Base Camp is
most commonly visited as a two week trek starting and
end at Lukla, the airport just to the south of Everest
National Park .
During the trekking seasons there are numerous daily
flights into and out of Lukla, weather permitting. The
flight from Kathmandu , which takes around forty five
minutes, passes over the fertile middle hills, with
their scattered villages and terraced fields, with an
amazing panorama of high Himalaya as a backdrop. Before
long the mountains close in and you are sweeping down to
land at the gateway to Everest-Lukla. Situated high
above the banks of the Dudh Koshi River , which carries
the melt water from Everest, Lukla provides a range of
services, including accommodation but we will choose to
start trekking as soon as we arrive and use Lukla as a
final destination on our return.

Day 01:
Arrive Kathmandu .
Day 2: Wake up in the early morning , transfer to
domestic airport for Kathmandu to Lukla flight ( 40
minute flight ), rest some time at the Lukla airport (
altitude 2800m) then start trek . Overnight at Phakding
( Guest house).
Day 3: Breakfast then start trek upto
Namche bazar(3440m)
Day 4: Acclimatization day in Namche
Day 5: Namche bazar to Tengboche trek
Day 6: Optional acclimatization day in Tengboche
Day 7: Tengboche to Pheriche trek
Day 8: Acclimatisation day in Pheriche
Day 9: Pheriche to Lobeje trek
Day 10: Lobuje to Gorak Shep again Kalapattar or Everest
Base camp , back to Gorak shep
Day 11: Gorak Shep to Lobuje trek
Day 12: Lobuje to Dingboche trek
Day 13: Dingboche to Tengboche trek
Day 14: Tengboche to Namche bazaar trek
Day 15: Breakfast, then start trek down to Lukla,
Reconfirm your flight ticket to Kathmandu, overnight at
Lukla.
Day 16: Wake up in the early morning , transfer to
airport for Lukla to Kathmandu flight , Pick up from
Kathmandu domestic airport , transfer to Hotel. Rest of
the day is free for rest.
Day 17: Departure Transfer
