Rolwaling Valley Trekking Brief.


Rolwaling is the east-west valley below Gauri Shankar (7145m) and just south of Tibet border. This region consists of Tamang village, majestic mountain ranges, several types of vegetation etc. During the Rolwaling trek you will have views of Pharchamo peak (6187m) and Ramdung (5925m). This remote area is a challenging and rewarding trekking destination. Trekking in Rolwaling is one of Nepal's finest high mountain valleys West of the Khumhu, directly on the Tibetan frontier there is a wild, lonely high valley the "Rolwaling" which is called simply "the grave" by the indigenous Sherpa's on account of its location - buried down between steep ice-giants. Many mysterious stories have been passed on about this valley. Through which the forefathers of the present-day Sherpa's once came. It is here that the notorious and celebrated Yeti is supposed to make his home. Entire research expeditions have, so far unsuccessfully, attempted to find him.

Very few tourist success to do trekking in this area, cause of its, covering the mountain terrain of the Nepal-China (Tibet) border, the trail to this pass goes between huge mountains along glaciers, situated in eastern parts.

Day 03: Early morning drive to Charikot. O/n Dolkha.
Day 04: Trek to Biguti.
Day 05: Trek to Manthale.
Day 06: Trek to Simigaon.
Day 07: Trek to Gulche.
Day 08: Trek to Beding.
Day 09: Trek to Na.
Day 10: Trek to Yulung Ri-Na
Day 11: Trek to Kyidug Kongma.
Day 12: Trek to Drolumbo.
Day 13: Crosses Tashi-laptsa pass and night camping at Phedi.
Day 14: Parchemo Peak 6273m.
Day 15: Trek to Thame.
Day 16: Trek to Manjo.
Day 17: Trek to Lukla.
Day 18: Early morning fly to Kathmandu. Check into hotel.
Day 19: Free at Kathmandu.
Day 20: Departure to Airport.

Cost Includes:
