SIRUBARI is a
famous name for village tourism. Many people

Sirubari won the "PATA GOLD AWARD 2001" in the
Heritage and Cultural Heritage category. The
village is totally unspoiled Gurung settlement
set in the hills at 1700 metres above Sea level.
The climate is ideal at any season. The climate
is warm during the September to June. Sirubari
village is a short drive and 3 hrs. walk from
beautiful lake city Pokhara, the major tourist
centre for the Annapurna (Machhapuchhre
Himalaya). You can enjoy short trekking having
home made delicious milk tea. It is reached from
the road to Lumbini, the birthplace of God
Buddha. Tourists are welcomed with traditional
band into the community and invited to stay in
the home of one of the villagers. The
accomodation is simple but comfortable with good
bedding as well as clean toilet facilities. The
food is delicious and will be eating meals as
one of the family members. Lodging, fooding and
sight-seeing everything is natural. The scene of
fishtail Himalaya(Machhapuchhre) in Annapurna
range and Dhaulagiri Himalaya seen from there is
really very beautiful and attractive. Community
provides entertainment each night with
traditional Gurung and Nepali dancing and

Village Tour Itinerary. |
|
Day 01: Arrive
Kathmandu.
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel.
Day 02: Bhaktapur Sightseeing Tour.
After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing
tour of Bhaktapur city. Back to hotel have rest
and in the afternoon again start half day
sightseeing tour of Bajrabarahi and Chapagaon.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara by Flight.
After breakfast fly to pokhara approx 30min to
get Pokhara. Arrive Pokhara and transfer to
hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Pokhara Sightseeing.
After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing
tour of Pokhara city including Devi’s fall,
Gupteshwore Mahadev cave, Seti River,
Bindhyabasani temple and Barahi temple with one
hour boating on Phewa lake.
Day 05 : Sirubari Village Tour.
After breakfast drive to Sirubari via Badkhola,
Darau. Stop for lunch en route Syangja Bazar and
arrive Sirubari village between 4 to 5 pm.
Welcome ceremonies, blessing by village lama,
snacks and allocation of accommodation.
Day 06: Rest day at Sirubari.
Depart village on foot for mountain views and
sunrise at Thumro. Snacks will be served at
Maidan Kharka before sunrise. After viewing sun
rise return to Sirubari. Breakfast and Lunch at
home. After lunch visit village, funeral place,
school and back to home. Dinner with family.
Evening culture program at gompa.
Day 07: Sirubari to Pokhara.
Breakfast with family and meet group at gompa
for farewell ceremony. Depart Sirubari at 8.30
am for Pokhara via Karkinetta, Seti Doban and
Naudanda. Stop for lunch en route. Arrive
Pokhara and transfer to hotel. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 08: Pokhara / Kathmandu flight.
Transfer to airport for Pokhara / Kathmandu
flight. Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Free day in Kathmandu.
Free day in kathmandu for shopping or you can
use your time for kathmandu sightseeing.
Day 10: Transfer to airport for departure
flight.
