Chitwan is only
150m above the sea level. The place gets steamy
from March-June, with peak temperatures reaching
43°C in the shade. Short grass makes Feb-May the
best game-viewing season, but the autumn months

compared to Kathmandu. The monsoon season
(July-August) is intense, with pounding rain,

Bandipur: Located on a 1,000m ridge
in Tanhu district, its geographical coordinates
are 27° 56' 0" North, 84° 25' 0" East, around
140km from Kathmandu, Bandipur's hallmark is its
beautiful scenery. Bandipur is a part of western
Nepal. At the eastern part of the town is the
pagoda-roofed Bindabasini temple which huses
goddess Durga, Bandipur's guadian deity.The rich
wooden carvings and detailed brass-work that
adorn the temple are replicas of those found in
the many old pagoda structures of the Kathmandu
Valley.The other important temples and shrines
in the vicinity include the Mahalaxmi temple
with its exquisite woodwork and the Khadga Devi
temple which comes alive once a year during the

which lies 135 km out on the Kathmandu -Pokhara

Pokhara: Pokhara at an elevation of
900 mts & 200kms west of Kathmandu, is the
largest valley in Nepal. A scenic mountain side
drive approximate 5/6 hours or a half hour
picturesque flight will get you to This valley.
Famous for its lakes and views of the
magnificent Himalayan Peaks, this visit is
recommended for those who would really like to
break away as they go boating in the calm and
serene waters of the Phewa Lake, or take day
hikes in nearby hills and if time permits short
treks into the Himalaya.
Pokhara is an extraordinary landscape and one of
the most attractive destinations in Nepal. The
treasures of Pokhara include the tranquility of
Phewa Lake, spectacular views of Annapurna
Himalayan range and Mount Machhapuchhare (6,977
m), luscious green hills, terraced farm slopes,
countless species of vegetation, rushing rivers
in a tropical-like environment. Pokhara is,
since ancient times, the traditional export
center for trade with India and Tibet. Merchants
from remote Himalayan regions of Nepal, such as
Muktinath and Mustang still come here with mule
trains. The Gurungs and Magars are the
aboriginal inhabitants and remain the majority
in the hill regions. But the urban population is
now made up of diverse ethnic groups seeking
employment opportunities. The Gurungs and Magars
have reputation as hardworking farmers and
valorous warriors who have earned worldwide fame
as Gurkha soldiers.
This calm city of Pokhara serves as a base camp
for trekking and rafting trips through the
regions of Annapurna and Western Nepal. Baidam
on the southeastern end of Phewa Lake and is
dominated by restaurants, bars, hotels and
shops, is the gathering place for travelers in
the western regions of Nepal. The island temple
of Barahi is accessible from baidam by dug out
canoes. This two-storied pagoda is dedicated to
the Hindu goddess Ajima. On Saturdays, devotees
paddle across the lake carrying live animals for
sacrifice. Bindhyabasini Mandir is a local Hindu
temple on the northeast of Phewa Lake in the
vicinity of the Old Bazaar. It is dedicated to
Goddess Bhagwati. Devotees perform animal
sacrifices and have picnics in the courtyard on
Saturdays. The Old Bazaar area is still the
commercial hub of merchants from the remote
Himalayas while Phewa Lake site is a pleasure
spot for holiday maker from around the world!

Day 01: Arrive in
Kathmandu.
We collect you from the Airport and transferred
you by private vehicle to the 5 star Hotel where
you can relax and enjoy your afternoon.
Day 02:
Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley includes
Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple,
Swyambhunath and Boudhanath. Back to Hotel. O/N
at Kathmandu
Day 03: Drive to
Chitwan by private car. Stop on the way at
manakamana to enjoy the Cable Car ride, a
favorite spot of the Nepalese. Arrive in the
afternoon in your luxury jungle resort. Spend
sometimes at the river bathing with the
elephants.
Day 04: In the morning you will have an elephant
safari. You will explore the jungle on elephant
back. Keep a look out for Rhinos and tigers. You
will also have an ox chart ride in the Tharu
village and you will watch the sunset over the
river.
Day 05: After breakfast take a canoe trip down
the river and walk through the grassland. You
will be taken to the elephant breeding centre
where you can interact with baby elephants. You
will also have a jungle drive and wildlife
spotting. Evening-Meal BBQ and Tribal Dance and
Culture Program....
Day 06: Relaxing morning with breakfast in Bed.
Drive to bandipur. Spend the afternoon relaxing
on the bandipur mountain resort.
Day 07: Relaxing morning with breakfast in Bed.
Drive to Pokhara. Spend the afternoon relaxing
on the lake.
Day 08: Drive to Sarankot for mountain views
with a fascinating sunrise. In the afternoon
sightseeing around Pokhara valley includes
Bindebashini Temple, Devi’s fall, Gupteshwor
cave, Mahendra Cave, Barahi Temple etc.
Day 09: Cross the Lake and take a morning walk
to World Peace Pagoda. Then fly back to
Kathmandu. In the evening enjoy a traditional
Nepali meal in a fine Hotel.
Day 10: Transferred to Airport for your onward
