Villageは、四方を雄大なヒマラヤの峰々に囲まれた神の土地に誕生しました。正面にダウラギリ（標高８１６７ｍ）の白いピークと大氷河、背後にニルギリ（７０６１ｍ）とアンナプルナ山群、眼下のカリガンダキは「黒い河」の名のごとく上流からの黒砂を巻き込んで流れる大河です。広大な河原は風の通り道となり、昼頃からは川下からの強風が砂塵を巻き上げています。河原からはアンモナイトも見つかり、両岸には見事な岩の褶曲も見られます。また、街道には、昔ながらの隊商が行き交い、ラバの首につけられた鈴の音は、はるか昔から変わらないなつかしい自然の音楽を奏でています。
