Seti River Rafting. (The Warm River)

The rafting expedition on the river Seti is one of the most beautiful short river expeditions available in Nepal. The warm waters of this river are heated naturally with the help of underground springs and geothermic activity. The expedition on this magnificent river starts from a put-in point at Damouli. You will be in close proximity of the water as you attempt Class-II rapids to begin with. A ratio of one guide to three travelers ensures the highest safety standards and individual attention. A gear raft will ride along with you carrying the food and camping equipment. Accommodation in a lodge is provided only on the first night. Apart from that this beautiful River passes through stunning jungle scenery, green hills and valleys. The Experience

Seti river originates in the southeast slopes of the Fishtail (Machhapuchhre) mountain. It moves to south jumping and rushing forward on the mountainous slopes. Rafting in Seti river is a refreshing experience as it runs between two beautiful regions of Annapurna and Manslu. The rafting normally takes two days and is suitable for medium-level rafters. Views of forest near the riverbank to Gaighat is very impressive. The two day rafting expedition is best suited for intermediate kayakers.

Seti River Rafting Itinerary.

Days 01 Drive towards Damauli by tourist bus 5 hours from Kathmandu and 2 ½ hours from Pokhara. Start rafting and camp at Sarangghat. Day 02 Rafting ends at gaighat and transfer to Kathmandu about 5 hours or to Chitwan 3 hours and Pokhara 4 hours.
